This is why I am truly honored to present to you, on behalf of the President of the French Republic, this very important distinction,” Yannick Tagand.
On October 8, Dr. Carla Knorowski received the medal of Officer in the Order of Merit for her rich career in academia, as well as her outstanding charitable actions especially for the reconstruction of Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral. As a member of the Board of Directors of “Les Amis de Notre-Dame de Paris”, she has been organizing high-profile events to raise funds for the rebuilding of the Parisian landmark.
