The Chaparral Alumni Network (CAN) Executive Committee in partnership with the College of DuPage Foundation is excited to announce the recipients of the Fall 2023 Chaparral Alumni Network Scholarship. Seven COD students representative of Community College District 502 were each awarded $2,000 to assist with tuition, books and fees for the fall 2023 semester at COD.
Supported by funds raised by CAN, the scholarship gives preference to those who are first-generation college students and/or minority students (either Black/African American or Latinx). Applications were accepted from current or admitted College of DuPage students living in Community College District 502.
The scholarships were awarded in partnership with College of DuPage Foundation, whose mission is to obtain and steward financial and in-kind contributions to expand educational and cultural opportunities for the College of DuPage community. CAN hosts an annual golf outing to benefit the scholarship fund.
